SmallRig has made a "global" cage for the Panasonic LUMIX S1 II/S1 IIE/S1R II/S5 II/S5 IIX/(G9 II) cameras to be used with DMW-BG1/ DMW-BG2 Battery Grip.

I don't know how many of you use the Battery grip, but bearing in mind that the last lenses from Sigma (200mm/135mm) or the upcoming Lumix 100-500mm are not precisely very small, some people prefer a big camera (like the Nikon Z9) to pair with such huge lenses for photo. For video a cage is very practical in order to rig the camera and for protection. I use the DMW-BG2 with my S1Rii all the time (I have paired it with the huge Lumix 50mm F/1.4 PRO S), and is very convenient for video power-intensive modes like 8K/6K/C4K, ProRes, etc. The Battery grip extends the camera's battery life and I have to check if it adds this cool feature: Hot-Swap Capability, allowing you to replace one battery without turning off the camera. I am not sure about it, I have to try it...
