7Artisans 85mm f/1.8 now available in L-mount

Another budget 85mm f/1.8 has been added to L-mount from 7Artisans. I think this lens has been out for other mounts for about a year.

Dustin Abbott's review is positive and unlike other offerings this one has a metal build. An oddity I've seen on a few Chinese lenses of late is that while it is telephoto it seems to have a hood designed for a wide-angle, which I imagine will have a negative effect on image quality in some circumstances.

I have already the lumix 85mm... If they makes a 135mm, I might be interested...

But good that there are now more affordable options...

The more choice, the better. 299 is a great price. Sony achieved its big market share only because they allowed third party lens manufacturers to produce as many lenses as possible for the Sony mount.

L-Mount is on its way... slow, but continuously
