All my telephoto shots of the eclipse were done with a Canon 70D (and a film EOS 30) and I used the S5 for everything else including wider shots during totality. I have some nice shots of people enjoying the eclipse which I've yet to get to.
These were both taken with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN.
Well, I finally managed to take the photo I wanted of the eclipse next to the Stupa. I've never done astrophotography in my life hahahaha I was really scared of burning out the sensor and the magnifying glass effect that burns the sensors using the Sigma 100-400mm telephoto lens, so I went crazy in Vienna to get a solar filter. They were sold out in every store except United Camera, where I bought a 20-stops Haida (ND1000000). Even the Baader Astrosolar sheets were sold out and when I went to the only telescope shop in Vienna the last three were already reserved. There was a line of people about 100 meters long in the sun, waiting to buy special sunglasses to see the eclipse... I was given some rolls that I had to cut to make a homemade sunscreen and protect the camera sensor, but it didn't offer me much confidence. So I decided to use the 20-step Haida that served its role...

The photo of the Stupa was very difficult because I wanted the sun to look big next to the Stupa. That's why I had to stand at a distance of about 60 or 70 meters and use the telephoto lens. It is an exposure bracketing of 5 photos edited in Lightroom, which generates an HDR. It is very difficult to lift the shadows in a scene with so much contrast. I tried several focus stacks and they didn't work well. So I had to decide whether to focus on the Stupa and the trees or focus on the eclipse... To do the bracketing I removed the solar filter since the sun was close to the horizon line and was no longer so dangerous for the sensor, but I had to put the P mode because the Manual exposure did not let me see or focus on the sun with the telephoto lens, so the settings went crazy but I trusted the measurements of the Lumix S1RII...
I watched an eclipse photography tutorial about ten days ago where they discussed filters and concluded that 1,000,000 (20 stops) was too high in this case because the sun would be very low. For an eclipse that's higher in the sky it would be fine.

Yes, only the first photo was taken with the solar filter. For the second was impossible to find the sun with the solar filter attached... Maybe I use it for the next eclipse in Spain next year...

Well I hope you're feeling rich if you're heading to Cadiz for the 2027 eclipse - I just had a look on a well-known site and the cheapest I found for two adults and two kids was 4000€ for three nights. There is an 81m2 holiday home available for a cool 29,000€ and it's not the only one around that price...
That site doesn't go so far as January 2028 for the anular eclipse but that one will cover a much larger swathe and is a "lesser" eclipse so should be easier and cheaper to attend.
FYI, Google's AI tells me that the anular eclipse will last around three minutes in Toledo, which is just inside the "totality" band while it will last around seven minutes in Albacete which is further south-east and slam in the middle of the belt.
Decided to satisfy my curiosity and try a tilt/shift lens - in this case, the TTArtisan 17mm F4. Pretty much, my copy performs like I expected it to - good optics but crude mechanism. Crude in that there is no micro-adjust of the tilt or shift, so the lens kind of bangs around a little if you are not careful when you unlock the movements.
This is just a straight, hand-held image with no movement. Nice sunstars (F8, IIRC).
