I think you've nailed it there. I've also noticed that the Lumix 50 drops off in AFC performance as the light drops. But I'm yet to try the 28-70mm back to back with it, or in similar lighting conditions.

I just got this Lumix 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, that was on my list since it was released long time ago. There is a 200€ discount in Europe until October 1st.
