S9 accessories and add-ons

That's all I would need to make an s9 useful. Well .. that and $300 to fit my thin budget.

Eh... maybe.

These add-on optical viewfinders have been kicking around for a ;peg while; Leica made several to go with lenses that were too far out of framing for the built-in rangefinder. And Yashica made one for a wide/tele auxiliary lens kit for the Electro 35, with dual framing rectangles for the two lenses; it was apparently the gold standard and highly sought-after for a while. I had one and used it with my Pentax Q.

It was good - the optics were coated (the yellow reflection in the pic), which was rare for optical add-ons. But it wasn't really enough, especially if you were trying to focus manual lenses.

Want to share this Zorki Turret Viewfinder I bought back in 2015 ... I used this one on my old Fuji X-M1 for a short time.

The problem is that it doesn't click into place on the S9, so I don't use it anymore. But it is kind of cool, because it offers 5 focal lenghts in one device. Probably this one has been made in Kiev back in the day.
