News S9 firmware v2.0 is now available

S9 firmware v2.0 is now available for download.

Update description
Support for LUMIX Smartphone App, LUMIX Lab ver.3.0.0 (or higher)
- Wired connection is now supported.
- LUTs created with additional parameters such as grain, color noise, sharpness, and noise reduction can be applied using REAL TIME LUT.
* Grain and color noise are only supported for photos
- My Photo Style can now be edited within the app for greater customization.

You can also download the firmware using the LUMIX Lab app, provided you have the latest v3.0 of the app.

I decided to do the update via the app. It downloads the firmware to your phone, then establishes a connection to the camera and transfers the file, then installs the firmware. I've included some screenshots from my iPhone below. It all went smoothly.

Just saw this.. I don't have an S9, but maybe a worthwhile read. The recommendation is to upgrade using an sd-card

Panasonic says you can still update the camera's firmware by using a computer to download the file, then copying it onto a memory card. It also says it's working to fix the issue so people will be able to update their camera's firmware with Lumix Lab in the future.
