A few "portraits" of a juvenile Cooper's hawk perched on my fence. These are 100% crops from the S1RII, Sigma 150-600 & 1.4x TC. Definitely the closest I've ever been to one of these majestic birds.

I am guessing you're loving the new S1Rii with images like this.

Thanks Pete. Yes, the RII really allows me to focus on getting the shot instead of wondering about AF. I was hoping to get him taking off but it didn't work out.
