Indeed. I got into a shortish discussion with an older Grandma as to why I was taking photo's of the cars. I said that we simply don't see anything like it in Australia.
My Wife keeps asking me why I don't take photos of the many beautiful & expensive cars there. And there's a surprisingly large number of them. I can see them anywhere I replied. These are unique :)
Each time we go back I can see the difference. Designs are getting much nicer, the number of normal family cars on the streets has exploded exponentially since my last visit.

Peak hour in the street market :)

A lot of their own designs are getting really nice Pete. I would have shot a few more detail shots of this, but it was raining & the Wife was yelling at me to get moving :) (Ever heard of Lynk & Co cars? Yeah, me neither :))

Yeah, I really like the look of that SUV! The front styling has a bit of a Porsche look about it.

That's a Swedish design, courtesy of Lynk & Co, headquartered in Göteborg. Like other Swedish EV designs (by Polestar and Volvo) it is manufactured in China by Geely.

Nice photos! It's very interesting to see all of those odd but functional vehicles.

This is what I was taking a picture of when we got into that conversation. See if you can see all the different design cues they've borrowed :D:D

Ahhhhh right. My mistake. Residing in Australia I've never seen or heard of them before. Not that I take a great deal of notice mind you :)

I giggle hysterically when I see these :)

Shutter speed a fraction slow on that one^^^^ I could blame the DFD though :)

I don't just shoot vehicles. The odd landscape too. Not my fault if some sort of wheeled device manages to sneak into the frame :)

Peak action. In single shot. Took me two tries, if you zoom in you can see the Spinning Top off the ground, the whip tip is too fast too see wrapped around the Top I think, as it's breaking the sound barrier going by the sharp cracks it's making. The Tops make a humming sound too, but it was the sharp cracks when 3 or 4 blokes get going all at once that caught my attention to begin with.
Much darker than it looks too.

I'm sure do, I'm driving one for about 3 years now
The 01 is a lovely car, same engine as the Volvo XC40, but more comfortable and more space.

Here he's standing in Czech Republic:

Hmmmm. That kinda makes a bit of sense, as I'm pretty sure one of the big Chinese Automakers own Volvo now. I know that VW is also built under license here, off the top of my head I can't think of any others at the moment. Vehicle building is a pretty incestuous affair these days, you don't know who's in bed with whom :)
