This video is actually about the FW updates of the Lumix S9 and the new 18-40 zoom.

But inbetween you can see how she modifies the look of thr S9. If these kind of gadges are already available for the S9, you know it will become cult.

Maybe, just among vloggers.
If it had an EVF rangefinder style, it'd be certainly become cult. Even, it'd attract many FujiX lovers, incl. myself.
It looks similar to X-E, X-Pro series of Fujifilm.
It'd be a hit!

The Ricoh GR has neither an EVF and is cult. Since around 20 years with all its iterations.

But I would love to have an EVF too.
