As the title states, £699.00 for an S5D and 18-40mm kit zoom. Any FF MILC at that price is tremendous value.

SRS Microsystems are the official retailer for Pentax products in the UK so I still get their mails. They're a very reputable shop with excellent customer service.

This is incredible! What a bargain! The S5D is still a great camera. More than most of us need.

You could probably even get that package just for the kit zoom, sell the camera on for 500 and you get the lens for just 199.

I ordered a set of the S5D, 18-40 and 28 pancake today for 799€ from FotoKoch (Germany), a long established dealer. My plan is to modify this body to full spectrum for IR photography…

That's crazy value indeed! Just for the camera alone it would be an amazing deal. Are they just getting rid of stock? Hope I can buy one for that price if my S5 ever dies haha. Never imagined such a great full frame camera would ever be so cheap, let alone with a very nice kit lens.

It's quite amazing really. I bought a used S5 off eBay as my "toe in the water" to Panasonic FF and it was more expensive than this - without a lens!

I got my S5 just after the S5ii came out. I was waiting for that release because I figured the prices of the original S5 would go down. I paid €1200 with a 20-60 and 5 year guarantee, at that time it was already a record low price for a proper full frame camera
