Viltrox are on fire

Viltrox are adding yet another lens, and this time another range, to their existing product line: https://www.dpreview.com/news/3445944863/viltrox-af-85mm-f2-evo-fe-lens-announcement

They really seem to be steaming ahead of the crowd in recent weeks, with new release after new release. I'd be particularly interested in these new "Evo" lenses for their ability to offer extra speed over zooms but not so much that they're huge, heavy and really expensive.

Will Viltrox release all their lenses in L-mount eventually? Or only a select few? I really hope for the former but they haven't made any statement I'm aware of.

My hope is they will release their 28mm f/4.5 pancake for L mount. I have it for my Sony camera and it is quite a nice lens; it's really small.
I think that's one of the two lenses they've already said they're bringing to the mount.

I'd prefer a nice little 28/2.8 about the size of legacy 28/2.8s if possible (which it probably isn't by today's IQ standards).

I might be tempted back into the S9 if they release it. My Sony A6700 is pocket size with this lens, and the S9 would be close.

Viltrox has the 28mm f/4.5 available for Sony, Nikon, and Fujifilm. A problem is, it is such a low cost lens (~$99 US) there isn't much revenue potential for an L mount version. But it shouldn't cost much for them to do this.

I would like to try this hack for anamorphic video with the Viltrox 28mm F4.5 and one smartphone anamorphic adapter:

He shows high edge sharpness fall off with a regular anamorphic lens (I think to justify this small anamorphic adapter). That is not my experience with anamorphic lenses; they are generally pretty good out to the edges. So it seems to me the bad fall off on he edges with this adapter is not normal, and not good. Also, not being able to focus to infinity with the adapter is a big limitation. All in all, I would not see a reason do this.
