I've never felt, I need a clunky IBIS. And, I hate tripods. I don't use them. Please, correct me if I am wrong, but I am afraid that it can be more challenging to take pictures in low-light situations with a full-frame camera that has a 61MP resolution and no IBIS. Any subtle camera shake or focusing errors are magnified and much more noticeable when viewing the image at 100% or printing larger, right? And it seems that the Sony RX1Riii has not lens stabilization. So, what is the point of a very small compact camera if you need a tripod in low light situations?
I don't get it, really. The same happens with the Fujifilm medium format GFX100RF: 100mpx and a slow f/4 Lens without IBIS for more than €5.000. I don't know...
Am I missing something here? Some kind of marketing trend or hype?
Also, I don't use cams with more than 24MP sensors.
And, I'll never will.
But, I can't shoot without EVF.
