Happy birthday! And how was it? Nice that you took the shot af 20:20 on the 20th
That's crazy - I hadn't noticed haha! Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. The cake was excellent! I highly recommend it if you're at all a fan of citrus-flavored sweets.

I thought that, the 18-40 is only a "kit lens", but these are decent photos.
I use the 18-40 when I want to have a small lens. I've never considered it a kit lens.

Well the camera came with it,I think I ll keep it for landscapes for now.
I also got a pergear 35mm and it’s sharp at the middle even at 1.4 although not so good on the sides.it’s useful because of the size also and for night photography I think.
Next lens will probably be the 24-60 or 35-150 Samyang to be on the camera all the time!

Yes, it's small size and light weight is why the 18-40mm is almost always on the front of my S9.

I pretty much never take “selfies”, but I needed one for a project, so here it is. And now it’s my new avatar here, too. Snapped with my S5iiX and S 50mm lens at f1.8. This is a very compressed copy of a 24MP RAW. :p
