The announcement was more about yet another wide angle zoom for L mount.... 10-18 which will be available this month...
More waiting for the 70-200 - first rumoured, and also supposedly in development for Sony and L mount in August 2020 ??????
Agree - sports line and the lens shown does look heavy... I was hoping for something along the lines of Canon's RF 70-200's which are great performers and much lighter than previous generations.

We will see. Rumour a while back said something about the first version from Sigma was sent back to development because of the weight and the goal was about 1050 g.

About the same as the Lumix f4 but a fair bit lighter than the f2.8
I wonder if there will be teleconverter too or can use same as 100-400?
will have to wait
